Here are some examples of fireballs. Most often people use a raised pan burner for fireballs, and have an even neat stack of all the same size balls, but many people also appreciate the apperance of the many sizes of balls in one fireplace. They come in many colors, and can be smooth or rough. Displayed are many widths of pans.

Some burner options. The first burner is the CS burner. It can be used with or without feet (most often without), and provides a raised, framed area to install the fireballs or firerocks. The second burner is a gas log burner. Typically when this burner is used with balls or rocks the full floor is covered. This Burner doesnt work as well with the neatly stacked balls, but works fine with the multi sized balls or rocks.
